Here is how our process works:

T
he first step in the process is to fill out an application for the animal you are interested in. We are very busy and appreciate your patience, it make take us a few days to return your call or email.  Applicants will be contacted within two to three days of application approval and are expected to meet the dog the following weekend at one of our adoption locations (listed on our home page) or, during the week by appointment at the Farm in Calhoun, GA.

In order for your application to be speedily processed, all information, especially the phone number for your veterinary and/or personal reference, must be included. Incomplete applications will be deckubed.

Dog Pack Rescue prides itself on facilitating a good match between our foster pets and prospective adopters. We consider the personality traits, habits, and needs of the animal and carefully evaluate how it might fit into the lifestyle of the prospective adopter.

Our adoption fee ranges from $165-$250 based on weight and breed.  Please check the listing of the animal to find the exact cost of adoption. (We offer discounts for seniors and multiple adoptions)

You can also print the application below and fax it to 866-295-1745 but we prefer you to apply online.

All adoptions are handled as a two week trial period - if the animal does not work out, don't feel bad.  We realize that some animals are not right for some environments, if you are unhappy, so is the animal.  Contact us and make arrangements to get the animal back to us.  You can pick out another animal that might be more compatible or recieve a refund minus a $50 transaction fee (which is a tax deductible donation).

We do not guarantee the health of any animals adopted. Any time you adopt an animal, you should take it to the vet as soon as possible. Your dog/cat has been checked by a vet, but will need to be started immediately on a program of preventative vet care.  Please be aware that the animals available for adoption are rescue animals and, as such, have often been exposed to a variety of diseases. Like human illnesses, these disorders can have an incubation period of up to several weeks. If the dog/cat you adopt shows signs of illness at any point, please take it to the vet for treatment. Once an animal is adopted, the adopter is responsible for all medical expenses. Dog Pack Rescue Inc. will not pay for medical care for an adopted dog/cat.
